A Mississippi man was arrested after an owner witnessed an ongoing burglary of his house on video.

Jesus Antonio Torres Aguilar, 28, of Oxford, was arrested on the scene of the burglary at a house on Christman Drive.

On May 4th, 2024, the Oxford Police Department responded to an ongoing burglary that could be seen on the owner’s security camera.

Aguilar was arrested and charged with Burglary – Breaking and Entering a Dwelling House or Inner Door of a Dwelling.

Aguilar was taken before a Municipal Court judge for his initial bond hearing and was issued a $10,000 bond.
