Community mourns death of 11-year-old Mississippi girl injured in ATV accident

Community members are mourning the death of a Mississippi girl who was involved in an ATV accident.
WLBT News in Jackson reports that 11-year-old Natalie Touchstone died from injuries she suffered after an ATV accident on May 26.
Officials with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office report that Touchstone was one of two girls who were involved in a collision between a vehicle and the ATV they were riding. Two other people were also reportedly injured.
Sharla Hodge, principal of Glade Elementary School, where Touchstone attended, told WLBT that the school community has been devastated by the loss and is devoted to supporting her family in the days ahead.
Touchstone’s funeral will be at 10 .m. Wednesday at the Journey North Laurel Campus, 4140 Highway 15 North.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the same location as the funeral.
