A man has been arrested and charged with murder following the death of a patient at a Mississippi hospital.

Officials with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation have arrested Keshawn Carpenter. Carpenter, who was reportedly working at the hospital. He was arrested on a murder charge Tuesday after the death of a patient at the hospital last week.

Carpenter was booked in the Lauderdale County Detention Center. His bond has been set at $250,000.
