Mississippi police searching for group of males who attacked victim with bat, robbed him of money and then shot him multiple times

Jackson Police report that the victim was attacked at approximately 10:30 p.m. Tuesday near Highway 80 and Gallatin Street.
According to WLBT News in Jackson, four males suspects reportedly approached the victim, attacked him with the baseball bat and robbed him. Police say the victim could fight off his attackers and run away from them. It wasn’t until the man was able to get away that he noticed he had been shot multiple times.
The victim then called 911. Police report that the injuries are non-life-threatening.
JPD says it is searching for the four suspects, and the case is under investigation.
