Mississippi man killed after witnesses report Jeep overturning multiple times across highway

A Mississippi man was killed after witnesses reported seeing a Jeep overturn multiple times across a Mississippi highway.
Officials with the Lowndes County Coroner’s Office report that David Logan Cook, 28, of Columbus, was killed in a wreck on Highway 45 at the intersection with Cal-Kolola Road.
The wreck reportedly happened shortly after 5 p.m. Monday.
Witnesses report seeing the Jeep cross from the southbound lane into the northbound lane of the highway, overturning multiple times and then landing in a ditch.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
