A fatal crash between a Mississippi deputy and a tractor occurred Tuesday night near Winona.

WTVA in Tupelo reports that the crash occurred Tuesday night on US 82 between Old Highway 82E and Hatchcock Road.

The crash reportedly involved a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department deputy and a tractor. Video of the wreck shows a tractor flipped upside down and severe damage to the front of the deputy’s vehicle.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department, Winona Police, the Mississippi Highway Patrol, as well as the county coroner were on the scene Tuesday night.

The identity of who was killed has not been confirmed.
