Mississippi woman wins $5,000 with $10 ticket — among 9 Mississippi Lottery players who won big Monday

A Madison woman won $5,000 with a $10 scratch-off lottery ticket and was one of nine big winners announced by the Mississippi Lottery website Monday.
In all, $16,600 in winnings were posted on the website on Monday. Prizes above $600 are announced on the website after winners claim their prize at the Mississippi Lottery Headquarters in Flowood. Prizes under $600 are not reflected in the winnings posted on the website. Those winnings are collected at individual retail outlets.
Winning prizes greater than $600 are subject to state and federal taxes.
Monday’s winning tickets announced on the Mississippi Lottery website are:
- A Jackson player won $2,500 on a Cash 4 ticket from Family Express Food Mart in Jackson.
- A Florence man won $1,000 on a $20 scratch-off ticket from Quick Fill in Richland.
- A Jackson woman won $1,000 on a $20 scratch-off ticket from Circle K Store #272336 in Madison.
- An Olive Branch player won $1,000 on a $20 scratch-off ticket from On the Way in Olive Branch.
- A Madison woman won $5,000 on a $10 scratch-off ticket from Fuel Time 10 in Madison.
- A Booneville woman won $1,500 on a Mega Millions ticket from Blue Sky #710 in Booneville.
- A Hattiesburg man won $1,000 on a Mega Millions ticket from Finish Line in Hattiesburg.
- A Biloxi woman won $1,000 on a Match 5 ticket from Winn Dixie #1511 in Gulfport.
- A Canton woman won $2,600 on a Cash 4 ticket from Yandell Shell LLC in Canton.
