An investigation has been launched after a body was discovered on a rural Mississippi county road.
WTVA in Tupelo reports that the body of a male was found on Thursday, July 18, in the southeastern part of Prentiss County.
Prentiss County Sheriff Randy Tolar said the body was found in the area of County Road 5091, near County Road 5320.
