Ole Miss football player Zxavian Harris was arrested on charges of domestic violence and obstruction on August 18, according to the Lafayette County Detention Center docket.
The 20-year-old defensive lineman, who is in his junior year at Ole Miss and majoring in general business, was booked at 6:42 p.m. and is awaiting a bond hearing. As of Monday afternoon, law enforcement had not released any additional details.
During a Monday press conference, Coach Lane Kiffin acknowledged Harris’s arrest, stating that the team is “still gathering information.”
This is not Harris’s first run-in with the law. In 2023, he was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including felony fleeing, DUI, reckless driving, and minor in possession. He pleaded no contest to those charges and was sentenced to a pre-trial intervention program for first-time offenders.
The investigation into the latest charges is ongoing.
