A Mississippi man has been taken into custody after he reportedly left his 3-month-old son in the car while he was at work.
The website deltanews.tv reports that Raphael Montgomery has been charged with Felony Child Deprivation of Necessaries with Substantial Harm and was being held in the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility awaiting his initial appearance.
Montgomery was arrested after the Greenville Police Department received a call from the 700 block of Manilla in reference to a father not bringing a child home. Officers reportedly contact the child’s mother, who said that the child’s father left the 3-month-old child in the car while he was at work.
Officers then made contact with a local hospital, that reported that the child was deceased.
