Cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, pills and firearms were seized by Mississippi officers in a months-long narcotics investigation.
The Vicksburg Post reports that Kory Kevin Grayer, 34, of Vicksburg, is in custody after a joint operation between the Warren County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) and the Vicksburg Police Department (VPD) culminated in his arrest and the seizure of drugs and firearms. The arrest followed a months-long investigation led by WCSO Narcotics Investigator Jeff Merritt.
On Tuesday morning, law enforcement units executed a search warrant at an apartment complex on Highway 61 North.
The investigation, which involved undercover methamphetamine sales, revealed Grayer had outstanding warrants with the VPD for selling controlled substances and with the Mississippi Department of Corrections for absconding probation. During the search, authorities seized approximately one ounce of cocaine, three ounces of methamphetamine, five and a half pounds of high-grade marijuana, over 1,400 MDMA pills, seven firearms—one confirmed stolen—and about $600 in cash.
Grayer now faces multiple charges, including drug trafficking and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Grayer remains in the Warren County Jail, awaiting his initial court appearance.
