Two people were killed after a vehicle near a Mississippi elementary school was sprayed with bullets.
Officials in Natchez report that the two victims — 39-year-old Keitra McDonald and 43-year-old Londell Williams — were killed while riding in a vehicle next to Susie B. West Elementary School.
The shooting occurred near Hope Lane on Lewis Drive.
According to Natchez Police Chief Cal Green, the victims died of multiple gunshot wounds after the vehicle they were riding in was sprayed with bullets near Hope Lane.
A third victim was taken to the hospital with injuries.
Police are still investigating the motive and no arrests have been made.
