“My God how I miss everything about Warren,” she wrote in a recent post. “His hugs, advice and most importantly his love and support for us and just being here with us at home.

“I still can’t believe how much has changed for us all. We have been living this daily and it’s still so hard to process. I can honestly say I am broken. But you know what else I can say…I do know in my heart God has a plan and it’s on his time.

Sandra Strain recently reported that her husband remains paralyzed on one side, cannot site up straight or talk yet, but that rehabilitation is continuing.

She also asks Mississippi to keep Warren in their prayers.

“Please continue to pray for peace, guidance and total healing,” she recently wrote.

Warren Strain worked for many years as a television reporter for WLBT-TV in Jackson and had served in several capacities in public communications.

He was elected as Madison’s alderman at large in 2014.
