A Mississippi woman was arrested after police discovered a victim who had been assaulted with a broken bottle.

The Oxford Police Department responded to a disturbance at a business on Dec. 10 in the 1100 block of Van Buren Avenue.

Responding officers discovered a victim who had been injured by a broken bottle.

After a preliminary investigation, Anna Stone, 21, of Oxford was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

Stone was taken before a Municipal Court judge for her initial bond hearing and issued a $40,000 bond.
