Mississippi man apprehended for failing to register as sex offender after domestic complaint

George County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a domestic complaint at a residence in the 100 block of Parker Rd. within the Agricola community Friday.

During the investigation of this complaint, deputies apprehended a male identified as Franklin Mosley Jr., 50, of Hattiesburg. Mosley was found to be wanted by the United States Marshalls Service-Mobile Office for a Probation Violation due to Failing to Register as a Sex Offender.

Mosley was arrested for his outstanding warrant. He is now being housed at the George County Regional Correctional Facility without bond and pending extradition.
