Forget porch pirate — suspect in custody after stealing entire Amazon van, wrecking it 40 miles away, officials say

Instead of being a porch pirate, one person reportedly decides to go to the source to steal his loot.
Police report that a man stole a van from a Mississippi Amazon facility in Jackson and then wrecked the vehicle 40 miles away.
According to Jackson Police, the Amazon van was stolen from the old Comcast Services building on I-55, which has been turned into an Amazon facility.
The suspect, who has not been identified, then wrecked the van in the 2500 block of Breeden Road in Utica, approximately 40 miles away.
Following the crash, the person was taken into police custody.
Although damaged in the wreck, the van was recovered at the scene of the crash.
