An Alabama man died in a single-vehicle crash on a rural Mississippi highway Sunday.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol reports that Curicous Palmer, 32, of Bay Minette, Alabama, died when the 2017 Ford Focus he was driving on Highway 80 near Jones Road ran off the road and collided with a tree.

The accident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
