Jackson Police are searching for four armed and masked suspects that attempted to steal a convenience store’s ATM machine early Monday.

The suspects were caught on the store’s surveillance camera trying desperately to remove the ATM machine, which appears to be firmly attached to the floor.

The attempted robbery occurred just after 2 a.m. Monday at the Cefco store in the 700 block of Lakeland Drive in Jackson.

Police report the thwarted thieves left the scene driving a dark-colored, Ford F-series pickup truck.

No injuries were reported.
