Nebraska troopers arrest Mississippi woman with 95 pounds of marijuana in vehicle

Nebraska State Patrol troopers arrested a Mississippi woman Monday night after they allegedly found 95 pounds of marijuana in her vehicle.

Troopers report they pulled over Patricia Jolly, 57, of Pearl, Mississippi, at approximately 7:20 p.m. Monday after they noticed her Ford Explorer following another vehicle too closely.

Troopers made a traffic stop on Jolly on Interstate 80 near Kearney, Nebraska.

The trooper who stopped Jolly reported seeing “signs of clandestine activity” and engaged in a search of the vehicle.

Troopers reportedly recovered 95 pounds of marijuana and arrested Jolly on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. She was being detained at the Buffalo County Jail Monday. It was not clear if she had received a bond.
