A Dallas man reportedly shot and killed his wife and two children Monday morning because he said the three were being too loud, police reported.

Police arrested James Webb, 57, after responding to his own 911 call on which police say Webb admitted to the shooting.

They found three bodies inside the apartment Monday morning. Webb has been charged with capital murder.

Webb’s wife and her sons, ages 13 and 15, were shot to death.

Dallas police released an arrest report that indicates Webb said he and his wife began arguing Monday morning because Webb had a headache and the rest of the family was bothering him by being too loud.

Police said Webb shot his wife first, shooting her at least two times, then turning the gun on the teenage boys.

He waited approximately an hour, police said, before contacting 911 through a medial alert device.

Police said Webb told them he “was tired of all three of the victims yelling and telling him there was nothing wrong with him, so he shot them.”
