Officials seek public’s help, release video of interstate hit-and-run accident at Mississippi-Louisiana border

Officials have released a video of an interstate hit-and-run accident at the Mississippi-Louisiana line, hoping the public can help with the investigation.

At approximately 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, a collision occurred on Interstate 59, southbound at the Mississippi-Louisiana line. A delivery truck and a vehicle collided, resulting in significant damage to the car.

Eyewitnesses reported that the delivery truck continued its journey southbound following the collision, leaving the accident scene. On the other hand, the car sustained total damage, leaving its occupants shaken but fortunate to escape without serious injuries.

The delivery truck is identifiable by a Coors beer wrap. However, authorities have clarified that the truck is not affiliated with the Biloxi distributor.

Louisiana State Police have taken charge of the investigation and are seeking assistance from the public. Anyone with information regarding the driver’s identity or the whereabouts of the truck involved in the hit-and-run incident is urged to come forward.
