Check out these awesome—maybe borderline-creepy—Eli Manning and Dak Prescott bobblehead dolls
If you’re looking for last-minute gift ideas to finish up your holiday shopping, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum—which I just discovered is very much a real place and somewhere I must visit ASAP—has a few options.
Today the museum released new limited-edition bobbleheads, including NFL quarterbacks Eli Manning and Dak Prescott sporting their college jerseys from Ole Miss and Mississippi State, respectively.
(OK, pause for a second. Everyone loves a good bobblehead doll, but can we all agree there’s not a single one in existence that doesn’t look low-key terrifying? I can also hear all of you saying, “But hold on a second, Alex! It’s all in good fun! Bobbleheads! Fun! DID I MENTION BOBBLEHEADS!”)
Manning, a two-time Super Bowl MVP for the New York Giants who recently saw the end of his 13-year starting streak, is one of Ole Miss’ all-time legendary quarterbacks, leading the Rebels to a Cotton Bowl victory over Oklahoma State at the end of his senior season.
Prescott led the Bulldogs to its most successful year in program history in 2014 and ended up being a major NFL standout during his rookie season with the Cowboys when he replaced Tony Romo as starting quarterback.
“We’re excited to release these bobblehead featuring two of the greatest collegiate football players to have played in the state of Mississippi,” said Phil Sklar, co-founder and CEO of the bobblehead museum.
There are only 2,017 officially licensed bobbleheads for each player, and they’re currently on sale for $40 each. You can only buy them through the Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, which again is a VERY REAL PLACE, so get on it.
